Hotel Partner Interview: Ace Hotel New Orleans

Ace Hotel New Orleans

Warehouse District Cool with NOLA Flair

The Address:

600 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70130 / Downtown Warehouse District

The Story:

“A friendly gathering place Ace Hotel New Orleans sits on the corner of Carondelet + Lafayette streets in the Warehouse District of one of the best cities on Earth. The feel of weft and warp woven together by countless anthropologies and creation stories far too vast for any single person to own. So it belongs to the whole city.

We're close to up-and-coming art galleries and shopping, museums, cocktails and just a jaunt to the classics of the French Quarter and the modernity of the burgeoning South Market District, a stone's throw to many of New Orleans' best gems like the Sports and Arts Districts, and just a bike ride to the lively Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods, as well as mystical nooks and corners you can explore on your own.

The city has an expansive soul that is palpable, self-assured in a way that sustains hope and grit and sadness at once. We're still new, but we love calling New Orleans home.”

Style:

Inspired by the French influences throughout New Orleans, the design is focused on a French Deco-inspired decor with a cool and relaxed vibe.

Location:

A swift walk away from the historic French Quarter, 5.5 blocks from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and Harrah's Casino. In between, are all of the restaurants shopping and attractions that is a part of the old + new New Orleans!

The St. Charles streetcar passes in front of the Ace and will take you uptown, or it’s a short walk to the Canal St. Streetcar or the French Quarter. Poydras street (1 block away) is easy for catching cabs or finding a ride-share.

Flying into town? Only 15 miles from Louis Armstrong International Airport!

Fun Facts:

  • “Ace is the first new hotel (not a re-branded hotel) in New Orleans in about 12 years.”

  • “The Omni San Francisco blends into the surrounding area as it used to be a bank. We have renovated the inside to become a hotel but we kept the historic look of the bank as its exterior.”

Amenities:

Guests enjoy free WiFi, full stocked mini-bars, Rudy's bathroom amenities, and plush bathrobes! You can always grab fresh coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, open from 7AM - 7PM, every day. After exploring around New Orleans, you can come back to the hotel + enjoy the stunning rooftop pool and grab a drink at Alto, the rooftop bar. Hoping for a fancier way to unwind from a day of fun? Try Josephine Estelle, an award-winning restaurant downstairs that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner or Seaworthy if you need a oyster fix.
