Affirm: A New Way to Pay
Pack Up + Go partners with Affirm to offer another way to purchase your Surprise Vacation. Affirm allows you to pay for your getaway over time, rather than all at once.
What is Affirm?
Affirm is a loan company that allows users to pay off purchases in fixed monthly payments. They are here to help you pay over the course of time for the things you love. They help you cover the cost of a big purchase so that you can pay it off over several months, rather than all at once. There are different payment schedules, and you are in control. Different payment schedules have different amounts of interest you will pay, ranging from 0% APR to 10-36% APR. You'll never pay more than you agree to upfront when you decide on your payment schedule.
Many stores accept Affirm as payment, but a partner store, like Pack Up + Go, offers the Affirm virtual card as an option right at checkout.

How does it work?
You can use Affirm to make a Surprise Trip purchase via the Pre-Trip Survey. Here are the three ways that you can make a purchase with Affirm!
To pay overtime at a partner store:
Fill your cart, then select Affirm at checkout.
Enter your mobile number, then select Continue.
If it’s your first time applying, create an account. If you already have an account, this step is skipped.
Enter the 4-digit verification code just texted to your phone.
See whether you're approved for your purchase.
Affirm will provide them with a digital credit card in their Affirm account.
This card will look like a regular virtual credit card with Visa or Mastercard.
The traveler will then go to our checkout page and will enter this virtual credit card information in the payment method.
To pay over time through the app:
Download the free Affirm app from the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android).
Enter your mobile phone number.
If it’s your first time applying, create an account. If you’re returning, you will skip this step.
Enter the 4-digit verification code just texted to your phone.
Tell them where you’re shopping and how much you need.
See whether you're approved for your purchase.
To pay over time through affirm.com:
Sign in to your Affirm account, or create an account.
Type the 4-digit verification code just texted to your phone.
Tell them where you’re shopping and how much you need.

Does Affirm charge interest + fees?
Affirm does not charge any fees. That means no late fees, no prepayment fees, no annual fees, and no fees to open or close your account.
Your APR will range from 0% APR or 10-36% APR and may be different depending on your creditworthiness and where you are shopping. The exact terms that apply to your purchase will be given when you check out with Affirm.
