As 2023 begins to wind down, we’re thrilled to announce next year’s Have Fun Do Good trips. With six different destinations on the horizon, there’s a spot for anyone looking to explore and give back. Let’s find out where you’ll be doing good in 2024!

Austin & Hill Country

Austin itself is known for its river and lakes, pristine swimming holes, and other incredible outdoors experiences. Hill Country offers even more when it comes to rolling hills, underground caverns, gorgeous swimming holes and other bodies of water. Outside of Texas, the region is a little-known natural gem! 

Austin prides itself on its laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. The city is known for its slogan, "Keep Austin Weird," which promotes individuality, creativity, and a diverse community. Hill Country encompasses many quaint, historic towns, creating a peaceful and idyllic atmosphere.

San Juan & El Yunque

02/15 - 02/19 (President’s Day Weekend)

12/05 - 12/09

Old San Juan is a UNESCO Heritage Site which means the colorful buildings, cobblestone streets and landmarks are all rich in history. Additionally, Spanish is the primary language and there are many traditional dishes to try such as mofongo (mashed plantains)!

How many places in the US can you explore the mountains and a rainforest in one day? Not many! Because of the diverse landscape, Puerto Rico offers plenty of outdoor adventures like sea kayaking and beach lounging, or ziplining and hiking in a rainforest!

San Diego, Palm Springs & Joshua Tree

02/29 - 03/04

11/07 - 11/11 (Veterans Day Weekend)

The trip will start in oceanside San Diego which offers plenty of water activities like kayaking, swimming and sailing. Then, the desert paradise of Palm Springs and JT will offer unique hikes, rock climbing and out of this world stargazing. San Diego’s beautiful beaches are a photographer’s dream while Joshua Tree is a bucket list National Park for many with an otherworldly desert landscape.

Enjoy an early morning hike and then relax the beach in San Diego or by the pool in Palm Springs! Many travelers find solace and tranquility in a desert environment.

San Francisco & Sonoma

04/11 - 04/15

06/20 - 06/24 

Sonoma is in proximity to some gorgeous outdoors experience, but let’s be honest…the main attraction is the incredible wine and luxurious excursions! We are excited to include activities like yoga and wine tastings in with our usual outdoor adventures. 

This is an  easily accessible west coast destination with 3 major airports (SFO, OAK, SJO). Additionally, from coastal hikes, to exploring the Muir Woods, to the outdoor markets, the mild northern California weather will make for a really pleasant visit!

Asheville & Blue Ridge Mountains

05/23 - 05/27 (Memorial Day Weekend) 

10/10 - 10/14 (Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend)

The town of Asheville is great, but the proximity to the Blue Ridge Mountains make it an incredible jumping off point for some stunning nature. Imagine super green warm weather periods and a luscious and colorful fall for hikes, drives, and other outdoor adventures!

Nature comes first for this trip, but Asheville has so many amazing things to do. It combines the charm of a small mountain town with the cultural offerings of a vibrant city, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere that many visitors find appealing.

Seattle & Mt. Rainier National Park

07/04 - 07/08 (July 4th Weekend) 

08/29 - 09/02 (Labor Day Weekend) 

In this region, one can experience incredible mountains and unique water activities (such as whale watching!) all in the same trip! The weather will be mild and comfortable making it the perfect climate in which to enjoy! 

Seattle It is quirky and interesting and will make for the perfect spot to return to each night. The hotel is close to museums, amazing restaurants, music venues, and more!
