Nothing says “Southern Breakfast” like a biscuit + no one makes biscuits like Biscuit Love! They serve classics like biscuits + gravy along with more creative variations like bonuts (biscuit dough that’s been fried and topped with lemon mascarpone). Not into biscuits? They also have dough-less options like cheesy grits covered in mushrooms, crispy bacon and shrimp!

Though their breakfast menu is served all day, you’ll want to get there early to avoid a line at Fido! Entrees lean more toward breakfast meets tex-mex (think scrambled eggs with tomatilla sauce + chorizo), but if you want something more simple, they have a range of bagels + pancakes as well.

For a caffeine break after breakfast, check out ZolliKoffee for a warm (or cold, if that’s your thing) brew! They really step up the coffee game with different non-dairy creamer options like almond milk, as well as house made syrups with flavors that include Karamel or Cardamon.

If coffee isn’t your thing, maybe you’d rather have an herbal wake up! We recommend heading to High Garden for loose-leaf tea blends + so much more! They call themselves a “tea house and sipping apothecary” which means everything is organic, hand-blended + delicious! You can also buy either their tea blends to take with you or some of their locally sourced dried herbs to inspire your own creations at home.

Though we recommend them for lunch, a local secret is their Midnight Breakfast every Saturday from 12 AM - 3AM (and yes, you’ll still get fried chicken).
