My favorite part of taking a Road Trip is the freedom of movement it provides. Need to stop for food? Can do. Want to take a pit stop to see something unique? You got it. Been driving for too long and need to take a break? Not a problem. There is freedom in deciding which route you take - direct or scenic - and the decisions you get to make along the way that truly makes it your own adventure. The Flexibility
I tend to be an early riser, especially when excited for a big Road Trip, but sometimes, I want to sleep in. I love the flexibility that comes with a Road Trip experience. I have traveled by automobile all over the USA - an East Coast Road Trip from Pittsburgh, PA to Bar Harbor, ME, as well as a Pacific Northwest Road Trip from Sacramento, CA to Portland, OR. While my excursions have definitely been on the longer side travel-wise, your Pack Up + Go Surprise Travel destination will be 3 - 6 hours away from your departing location. If you want to travel longer or can only travel a certain distance, you can let the Travel Planning Team know that on your Pre-Trip Survey as well!
