Opened in 2015, Wild Root is a great place to stop in for breakfast while you are in Boise. The menu at Wild Root is packed with a variety of different options for you to pick from. Try their steak and eggs, wild skillet, granola bowl, or açai bowl. They also have vegan eggs available so even if you are vegan or vegetarian you can enjoy one of Wild Root’s unique breakfasts.

Looking for a quick + easy lunch? Stop by Tasso for sandwiches, salads, and more! Their delicious sandwich choices like curried egg salad or the kimchi club will be perfect for fueling you up in the middle of the day. They even have vegan + vegetarian options available! Boise Fry Co. ($$)

One of the most unique restaurants in Boise, Boise Fry Co. elevates the French fry-game, making it one of the coolest restaurants in Boise. At Boise Fry Co you can choose between 7 different kinds of potatoes and 5 different cuts to make the perfect fry for you. All potatoes are locally sourced and are fried in natural sunflower seed oil. Boise Fry Co. doesn’t only serve fries, they also have burgers sourced from local ranches and house-made vegan burgers. At Boise Fry Co. they use natural and local products and aim to produce as little waste as possible. That's why they recycle the sunflower seed oil used in frying to be made into fuel for cars!

A Boise favorite, Fork serves local cuisine on a menu that features Idaho farmers, ranchers, bakers, and producers. With an extensive menu, including gluten-free and vegetarian options everyone can find something to enjoy at Fork. Even their decor is local! Recycled material from an old Idaho Barn was used to make elements of the restaurant including their tables and glassware. If staying local is important to you, Fork is a great place to check out!

If you want to hit a brewery that is keen on making diverse beers, look no further than White Dog Brewing Company. They’re mission is “to make the most well-rounded, consistent, and interesting beer in the Mountain West”. No matter when you stop in, you are sure to find a full range of beers from IPAs to Ales to Sours, Tarts, and Ales.
