Intro to You Pick Trips

While we know you love our Surprise Trips, we recognize that sometimes, you might have a specific destination in mind! Unlike our other Trip Types, where the destination is a surprise, You Pick Trips allow you to select the location you’ll be exploring. This option is ideal for travelers who have specific places in mind that they wish to visit. All you have to do is get yourself there (flights are not included), and we’ll provide the surprises, including your accommodations, dinner reservations, curated recommendations, and pre-planned activities, which will all be unknown until the day you depart.

Our You Pick Trips have a diverse range of destinations, catering to different tastes + interests. Whether you’re looking for a beach getaway, a city experience, or a nature retreat, we’ve got a destination that aligns with your preferences, including 20 new places that we’ve just added!

New You Pick Destinations to Add to Your Bucketlist

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Escape to the vibrant, sun-soaked shores of San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico! As you wander through the colorful streets of Old San Juan, you're transported back in time, with its cobblestone streets and Spanish colonial architecture. The El Morro fort offers breathtaking views and a slice of history, while the local cuisine, with its blend of Spanish, African, and Taino influences, is a culinary journey in itself. Don't miss the chance to experience the bioluminescent bays – a truly magical experience.

A short drive from the city will lead you to El Yunque National Park, an ecological treasure and the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. This lush paradise is a haven for nature lovers, offering a chance to immerse yourself in a world of verdant foliage, cascading waterfalls, and rare wildlife. Hiking trails wind through the forest, leading to breathtaking views and serene spots perfect for a moment of reflection.

Portland, Maine

Looking to live your best “coastal grandma” life? Then head to the charming city of Portland, Maine. The New England vibes couldn’t be stronger in this walkable city, known for its historic lighthouses and abundant seafood, like lobster rolls to clam chowder. If seafood isn’t your vibe, not to worry, there is a huge foodie scene including some of our favorites like Duckfat and The Honey Paw. Beer lovers can also check out the craft beer scene at one of the 27 breweries in town. The Portland Museum of Art and the cobblestone streets of the Old Port District add a cultural touch to your visit. And if you're up for it, nearby nature trails and scenic boat tours on Casco Bay provide a refreshing outdoor experience.

One of the highlights of any visit to Portland is the iconic Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse, located just a short drive from the city. This historic lighthouse, also known as Portland Head Light, offers stunning views of the rugged Maine coastline and is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. Visitors can wander around the gorgeous park, explore the small museum inside the former lighthouse keeper's quarters, and capture the perfect photo against the backdrop of this quintessential New England landmark.

Honolulu, Hawaii

Aloha from Honolulu! This famous destination is more than just stunning beaches + crystal-clear waters, it’s a vibrant mix of natural beauty, rich history, and cultural diversity. Situated on the island of Oahu, it's a destination where modern city life meets the serene beauty of the Pacific. Renowned for its iconic Waikiki Beach, Honolulu is a haven for surfers, sunbathers, and anyone looking to indulge in a quintessential Hawaiian beach experience.

The city's backdrop of lush, volcanic mountains, including the famous Diamond Head crater, offers breathtaking views and hiking opportunities for adventure enthusiasts. Visitors can explore the historic Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on US soil, delve into the island's history at the Bishop Museum, and visit the Pearl Harbor National Memorial

Miami, Florida

Miami is a destination that truly has it all. Famous for its sunny beaches and Art Deco architecture, this city is also a hub of arts, culture, and nightlife. Soak up the sun or enjoy the vibrant nightlife of South Beach, and definitely visit Little Havana, for a taste of Cuban cuisine. Art enthusiasts should not miss the Wynwood Walls, an outdoor museum showcasing large-scale works by some of the world's best-known street artists. The nightlife in Miami is also legendary, with world-class clubs, bars, and music venues offering entertainment until dawn. Don’t believe us? Listen to literally any Pitbull song, then grab your sunglasses + wide-brimmed hats and see why they call it the “magic city”!

Scottsdale, Arizona

Scottsdale is a gem in the heart of the Sonoran Desert and so much more than the newest must-hit destination for Bachelorette parties. This city blends natural beauty and urban charm. Known for its luxurious resorts, world-class golf courses, and vibrant art scene, Scottsdale offers a perfect escape for relaxation and cultural exploration.

The Old Town Scottsdale area, with its art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants, reflects the city's Western heritage. Nature lovers will appreciate the stunning desert scenery of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve, ideal for hiking and wildlife viewing. And don't miss the chance to experience a true Arizona sunset – it's unforgettable.

Park City, Utah

Fans of the great outdoors should head to the mountains of Park City. Renowned for its amazing ski resorts, Park City is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts year-round.
