What Happens After You Sign Up

You just signed up for your Pack Up + Go Trip!

Now what?

After you sign up for your Surprise Vacation you may be feeling a little “nercited” (nervous + excited!), but not to worry. Pack Up + Go is the leading travel brand for Surprise Travel in the United States and we’ll be there every step of the way. Whether you’re solo traveling or planning a Road Trip, Pack Up + Go will make sure you have the best vacation ever (AKA, you’re in good hands!)

Expect a confirmation email like this one after you book your trip.

When You’ll Hear From Us

One of the best reasons to sign-up for a Pack Up + Go getaway? You leave the planning to us. That means that after signing up for a Surprise Trip and completing your Pre-Trip Survey, you can sit back and relax - we will be busy planning your amazing mystery getaway!

Immediately after booking your Trip:

You’ll receive an email confirmation that includes all the information from your Pre-Trip Survey. Look over the info and let us know ASAP if anything looks incorrect.

A Few Weeks Before Departure:

You’ll receive an email from our Team letting you know that your Surprise Vacation is right around the corner!

One Week Before Departure:

Check your email! Our Team will send you a weather forecast for your mystery destination plus a suggested packing list for your Trip. For example, we will let you know if you should pack a bathing suit or a heavy coat depending on the activities we have planned and the current climate in your destination.

A Couple of Days Before Departure:

Your Surprise Trip Envelope will arrive a few days before your departure (so that you aren’t tempted to open it ahead of time)!

Your Envelope is ready for it’s close-up! 📸

Your Envelope will contain your trip details including:

  • Your Surprise Destination reveal

  • Hotel information

  • Any activities planned

  • Your curated recommendations

  • Pack Up + Go goodies!

Your Envelope will contain the details of your Surprise Trip aside from your packing list and the weather forecast of your destination. This information will be sent to you via email (see above!).

We encourage you to wait to open your Surprise Trip Envelope until the day of departure.

One Day Before Departure:

You will get a short email with another weather update — just in case anything has changed!

On Departure Day:

We hope you’re getting excited about your Surprise Vacation! On the day of your departure, you will receive the final email before you Pack Up + Go. For Plane Trips, this email will contain the information you’ll need to check in.

Keep in mind that this email will reveal your destination, so make sure you have already opened your Surprise Envelope before you read it!

Your Email vs. Envelope cheat sheet!
