We want to make the idea of solo travel easy for you! When signing up for a Surprise Solo Trip, there are a few things to keep in mind:

Although you may be going alone, our 24/7 Traveler Support Team is always here to help with any hiccups or questions you may have along the way. Things might not always go as planned, but our Traveler Support Team is here to keep your Solo Surprise Trip going as smoothly as possible!
Solo Trips can be a little more pricey than multi-traveler Trips. This is because the majority of the portion of your Trip budget is going towards the hotel (hotel rooms will cost the same regardless of the number of guests staying in it). Solo travel might be a little more expensive, but hey, you deserve to treat yourself!

You’re on your Solo Trip… Now what?
You’ve made it to your destination, and you might be thinking, “what’s next?”. It’s time to get up and go explore! Solo travel isn’t just about exploring yourself but also about exploring what's around you. Some great places to start venturing out to can include restaurants, accommodations, and activities.
Here are some of our favorite ways to explore more during a solo getaway:
Exploring Local Restaurants + Bars
You’re bound to get a little hungry during your trip, so while you’re out and about, keep an eye out for anything that sparks your interest (or taste buds for that matter). We suggest stopping in and making reservations for later or even looking them up online and checking out their menu!

Exploring Accommodations + Activities
Research will be your best friend during your solo vacation. But, the best part about going solo is that if you change your mind, that’s okay! Do whatever you want, whenever you want! By researching some of the local stays and activities, you can pick whatever catches your eye when it comes to your Trip.

Solo Traveler Safety
While solo travel is infinitely rewarding, it’s important to remember safety tips while you’re out and about!
Carrying your valuables:
Think crossbody bag! Choose a crossbody bag that can’t be grabbed off your shoulder. Always make sure it’s zipped when not in use and keep it toward your front. This way you’ll have an eye on your valuables.
Avoid keeping valuables in your back pocket. That’s where the crossbody bag comes to play!
Going solo can be an amazing experience that helps you get in touch with your independence and learn more about yourself!
You'll finally have a travel partner who never disagrees with your choice about where to eat, won't judge your love of touristy activities, and won't complain if you spend a little too much time at that adorable cat café!
